Every restaurants, hostels, apartments, vegetable markets and farms generates huge amounts of bio-waste. Just dumping it somewhere, releases dangerous gases and polluting the soil and air. This is happening in every city and every village across India. At the same time this waste is actually not useless, can be turned into useful with right treatment.

Mostly rains and weather condition disrupts farmers, when everything goes well they dont have proper facility to maintain the product. India wastes 30 to 40 percent of all fruits and vegetables every year after harvest. Cold supply chain is short of 60,000 units across the country. Cold storage that exists is too expensive for small farmers. An affordable cold storage solution built for farmers at village level is much needed.
We mechanised everything on the farm except, harvesting(Plucking).
From a farming family. We grow vegetables all year. Ploughing and sowing have machines but that needed only once for a crop. But plucking tomatoes, chillies, brinjal happens every day and still needs people. Labour is hard to find daily. Everything on the farm getting easier, when plucking will be?
What if someone builds a coworking space in rural India for work from home employees.
Working from home but desi parents in the background, clients hear more screams than my explanation. Chaotic city PG is no option either. What if there are small affordable work and stay spaces in rural India close to nature. Not permanent, just a month, work peacefully, explore a new life also affordbale, recharge and come back. Gen Z would love this and remote workers are already looking for exactly this.
Empowering Farmers Through Direct Community Connections
I am from a rural area, and this idea comes from my experience with farmers and agriculture.Instead of depending on middlemen, gated communities and urban families can directly connect with village farmers for their daily food needs.Farmers can grow crops based on the community’s requirements, and people can buy fresh products directly from them.This creates fair income for farmers and provides healthy, chemical-free food for families.People who prefer organic farming can also support and invest in farmers to encourage sustainable cultivation.This model builds trust, strengthens the connection between rural and urban communities, and creates a better future for both farmers and consumers.Supporting farmers directly means supporting healthier food, sustainable farming, and a stronger society.
Heavy snake proof boots are not what farmers really need in paddy fields.
When I went to my village I spoke to a woman who goes for daily wages to farms. She told me last year she lost three toes because of a snake bite. I asked her why she doesnt wear boots. She said boots are too heavy, we cannot work with that in wet fields whole day. That answer stayed with me. Paddy and wet fields are where most dangerous snakes hide and farmers go barefoot. Boots exist but they are not suitable. Why not a flexible sock kind of thing made from good snake resistant material, affordable enough for daily wage farmers. Light to wear, strong enough to protect.
Spirulina superfood, what NASA astronauts eat for protein in space.
After Sunita Williams came back from space I was watching a podcast and someone asked her what food astronauts eat to stay strong with so less food. That is when I came to know about spirulina. NASA astronauts use it because small amount gives very high protein. 100 grams spirulina has 57 grams protein, egg only has 13 grams. 4 times more protein than egg and it is natural plant. If NASA trusts it, why we are spending money on chemical protein powders with side effects. If someone procures quality spirulina and makes it into tasty powder drinks or snacks, heldful for fitness freaks with growing demand.
Health tracking ear tags and smart pregnancy kits for cattle, dairy farming in need.
Few years back I quit my job and came into dairy farming. Biggest problem I face is cattle not conceiving. We give sperm with doctor or bull and then wait two months and again call doctor to check if she is pregnant or not. Like humans have small pregnancy test kit at home same thing for cattle also saves so much time and money. And like we have smartwatch to track our health same way ear tags for cattle that tracks activity feeding temperature helps detect problems early. Farmer should not wait for doctor visit to know basic things about his own cattle.

We used to live in village and directly buy fresh milk from farmer. Then we moved to nearby town 10km from my village and started buying packet milk. Same milk from nearby farmer goes to dairy then factory then travels long way and comes back in packets with chemicals and powder. Fresh milk is right there 10km away but we are buying same milk after it travelled 500km. Its like touching your nose from behind. If someone organises this properly, collect from nearby dairy farms and supply pure fresh milk locally, people will happily pay extra. Many rural youth already setting up dairy farms. Easy market to enter and demand is already growing.
Biggest textile industry the natural rubber segment is completely untouched.
Comfy clothes we wear every day, innerwear gym wear anything that stretches needs elastic. Almost all of it is spandex, plastic based imported material and cannot be recycled. Countries depend on imports for this one material. Natural rubber can be used and it stretches naturally but nobody is processing it and supplying to garment manufacturers. Most people enter textile by white labelling, buying clothes and putting their brand. But there is more here. Procure natural rubber from farmers, process into elastic tapes with cotton cover and supply directly to manufacturers. Long term contracts and no more dependency on imports or crude oil prices.
