My father retired from banking after 32 years of experience. He reads same newspaper for 10 times and gets bored and wants to do something meaningful with all that experience he has. On the other side millions of MSME business owners in India are eligible for loans, have proper documents but still getting rejected because they dont understand the process. These two people need each other. Retired bankers like my father can guide MSME owners online from home.
Nowadays, most e-commerce platforms follow very similar user flows and interaction patterns. Is there an opportunity to redesign the experience in a way that feels more trustworthy, seamless, and user-friendly than the current standard? The goal is to create a simplified purchasing journey that reduces unnecessary steps, avoids confusing users during checkout, and builds stronger trust throughout the payment process. At the same time, the experience should remain technically feasible, intuitive, and frictionless without compromising usability or business goals.
I found this gap in the present market. Retail shops in small towns have to depend on different distributors for different products. Soaps from one, biscuits from another, drinks from someone else. Managing money separately to each one, meeting their minimum orders, coordinating is hectic for a small shop owner. We used to have a retail shop and I seen this closely. Something that helps tier 3 retail shops order everything from one place with one delivery and one payment would genuinely change how they run their business every single day.
I am done with stocks and everything its bleeding red always. Land is the safest investment but buying a full plot as a salaried employee is just not possible for most of us. Every month I save but it is never enough to buy land alone. I always think why cant we own land the same way we invest in stocks, small amounts, part by part, without taking the whole burden alone. So many salaried people like me have this same wish but no solution exists for it yet.
Owning a house is every one's dream but the process is slow unorganised and expensive. In cities big buildings come up in less than 6 months. But in rural areas building one small individual house takes the same 6 months, unknowingly families spend so much more than they planned because delays cost money.Skilled labour is available in rural India but nobody is bringing commercial pace and coordination to this space. Taking up group construction projects in villages, multiple families building at the same time, at bulk materials comes in bit discount, good quality and cost comes less.
I am younger of two siblings and my father spent 25 to 30 lakhs on each wedding. That money is gone, When my turn comes I dont want to waste that money same way. My idea is use that money to own a house or property and get marriage right there. Obviously that money alone is not enough for full property so remaining amount on EMI using that home as collateral. But doing everything on my own, finding property, arranging wedding, getting bank loan all together is next to impossible. If some company does this end to end, ties up with banks for EMI option and manages everything, money spent on wedding actually becomes an asset you own.
Whenever I visit a restaurant or theatre on a regular weekday it is almost empty. They can seat 100 people but maybe 20 show up. The rent is running, staff is there, everything is on but barely earning. At the same time someone in the same area is planning a birthday, an anniversary or a team outing and struggling to find a good affordable venue. These two people exist at the same time in the same city and nobody is connecting them. The business owner gets a full table. The group gets a great deal. Simple as that.
People like me want to support made in India products so it empowers local opportunities. Every time I search on Amazon or Flipkart everything is mixed together, Indian Chinese foreign all. I spend extra time filtering and most times just give up. India manufactures everything electronics clothes food appliances A to Z but no verified platform where I can be sure everything is actually made here. A separate platform only for verified Made in India products where everything is checked before listing. People like me will use it every day and new Indian brands also get place to grow.
We live in commercial and artificial world. Everything looks artificial. But when you come home after long day and see something handmade in your room it feels different. Trust me it is next to meditation. India has most talented artisans and this talent is totally underrated and underserved. If someone with good marketing and networking becomes bridge between artisans and buyers they can build real business. Take custom orders, deliver with export quality opens global market. Each product with QR code where buyer can scan and watch its story. They are not buying product they are buying an art. India has talent, someone just needs to connect it to world.
Ever connected these dots. Why Ambani and Adani adopt thousands of acres of forest like Vantara. Passion maybe. But actually industries that pollute have to buy carbon credits by law to offset that pollution. Every tree generates these credits. So whoever owns the forest can sell those credits and earn real money. Small companies who want to buy credits dont know where to go and getting cheated also. If someone builds simple marketplace where companies buy verified credits and farmers or landowners sell credits from their trees both sides benefit. India Carbon Credit Trading Scheme already started in 2023. Whoever builds this now will own the market when it becomes compulsory for everyone.
